Shia chief, others arrested from Srinagar resort; police says try to revive JKLF & Hurriyat

SRINAGAR: An influential Shia chief and Hurriyat chief Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, whose father was a Hurriyat Conference chairman, together with many others had been detained by police from a Srinagar resort on Sunday. Police stated prima facie that they had been planning to revive the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).
