Scorpion bites girl passenger onboard Air India flight

NEW DELHI: In a unusual incident, a lady passenger was bitten by a scorpion onboard an Air India flight from Nagpur to Mumbai last month.
On landing on the airport, the passenger was attended by a doctor, subsequently dealt with at a hospital and discharged, the airline talked about in a press launch on Saturday.
Air India talked about there was an “extremely rare and unfortunate incident involving a scorpion biting a passenger onboard our flight AI 630 on April 23, 2023.”

Following the incident, Air India requested the catering division to advise dry cleaners to confirm their companies for any mattress bugs infestation and if compulsory, carry out fumigation of the companies as there is a danger of bugs discovering their method into the aircraft by the offers, an Air India official talked about.
