Sameer Wankhede, former NCB officer who probed drugs-on-cruise case, transferred to Chennai

NEW DELHI: In a modern improvement in reference to the cruise ship raids case during which Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was positioned beneath arrest, few NCB officers together with Sameer Wankhede concerned within the alleged shoddy probe have been transferred to Chennai.

Wankhede, the previous head of the Mumbai zone of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), has been transferred from Directorate of Revenue Intelligence to DG TS, Chennai.

Other NCB officers who’ve been transferred are P. Ram Mohan and T. Rajashree.

The SIT shaped within the case could be submitting a report with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to repair accountability for conducting shoddy probe within the matter, sources within the NCB mentioned.

The report will repair the accountability of the officers who had been concerned within the investigation as a consequence of which Aryan Khan and others got clear chit.

The MHA is keeping track of the matter.

Earlier, NCB official Ashish Ranjan Prasad was positioned beneath suspension. However, his suspension was later revoked, and he was transferred to CISF.

Another NCB official who confronted the music was Intelligence Official V.V. Singh who crammed the arrest memo of Aryan Khan. Singh was positioned beneath suspension which has not been revoked until now.
