Salesman crushed up by two policemen in Uttar Pradesh for denying free liquor cartons

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A sub-inspector has been suspended and a Station House Officer despatched to police strains for allegedly beating up a salesman of a liquor store in Sikheda space of the district, police stated on Tuesday.

According to a criticism filed by the sufferer Anit Kumar, he was crushed by the 2 policemen after he refused to present them two cartons of liquor at no cost Monday night.

“While Sub Inspector Ashok Bhardwaj has been suspended, Station House Officer (SHO) Rakesh Kumar was shifted to police lines following the incident,” Senior Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal stated.

Meanwhile, a number of liquor store house owners staged a protest and demanded justice for the sufferer.
