SRINAGAR: With the PM Package Pandit staff returning to their duties within the Valley after 9 months of strike, the federal government has determined to lodge them in accommodations to make sure their safety and 1,000 resort rooms have been recognized in Srinagar for his or her lodging.

The staff, who have been on strike since May 12 final yr after killing of a Pandit worker Rahul Bhat by militants in central Kashmir, suspended their strike final week. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri has directed the officers to border the standards for allotment of lodging to married and single Pandit staff.

However, Ranjan Jotshi vice chairman of All Migrant Displaced Employees Association Kashmir is just not impressed saying the administration needs to offer them lodging in accommodations on a sample of room sharing. “They must have separate rooms. How can families and couples live in a shared room?” he mentioned.
