FIROZABAD: A video of a constable bursting into tears and sitting on a dharna over the “poor” high quality meals offered by the mess on the police traces right here has prompted the division to order an inquiry.
In the clip that surfaced on social media on Wednesday, constable Manoj Kumar was seen staging a protest with a plate of meals from the mess.
Kumar was additionally heard referring to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s promise to provide Rs 1,875 individually for provisions of nutritious meals for police constables.
Taking be aware of the problem, Senior Superintendent of Police Ashish Tiwari has ordered an inquiry.
The SSP mentioned the matter has been famous and Circle Officer (City) Abhishek Srivastava has been requested to probe the standard of meals offered by the mess.
