Robbers decamp with gold, money from industrialist’s dwelling in Nashik

NASHIK: Armed robbers decamped with 400 to 500 gram of gold, Rs 2 lakh in money and another valuables from the home of an industrialist after threatening his relations in Nashik suburb of Satpur on late Monday morning, police stated.

The daylight theft created panic on this North Maharashtra metropolis.

According to the police, industrialist Baburao Nagargoje left his home at round 10.15 am and 45 minutes later, a gang of robbers, numbering 4 to 5, barged into his dwelling.

The robbers threatened his spouse, two daughters-in-law and grandson with a knife and different weapons, tied them in the home and decamped with 400 to 500 gm of gold, Rs 2 lakh in money, cellphones and different some valuables, they stated.

A case was registered on the Satpur police station and additional investigation was underway, the police added.
