Rakesh Tikait attacked, ink smeared on his face by three in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) chief Rakesh Tikait was attacked by three individuals at Gandhi Bhavan in Bengaluru on Monday when he was about to deal with a press convention. The three accused smeared the farmer chief’s face with black ink and tried to hit him with a mic. 

The trio, who’ve been arrested, reportedly instructed the police that they had been upset with Tikait and others for not speaking in Kannada and likewise for attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi of their speeches.
