Rajasthan: Three folks go lacking after being swept away in Parvati river

KOTA: Three folks went lacking after being swept away within the Parvati river close to Kishanpura village in Rajasthan’s Kota district, police mentioned on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when the three folks had been taking a shower within the river’s overflowing water and catching fish, they mentioned.

Three individuals — recognized as Rahul Gujarati (23), Banti Jatav (42) and Babulal (45) — all residents of Gandhi Colony beneath the Baran Sadar police station space had been swept away in deep water within the Parvati river on Saturday afternoon whereas they had been bathing and catching fish, mentioned SHO Ramvilas.

The river’s water stage reportedly all of a sudden started rising and the three individuals, together with two others named Kishan and Neelu, had been swept away by the sturdy present of the water, he added.
