Rajasthan Farmers have to hyperlink checking account with Aadhaar by Feb 10 for getting advantages underneath PM Kisan

JAIPUR: Beneficiary farmers of the PM Kisan Scheme should get their checking account e-KYC verified by February 10, an official stated.

It has been made necessary for the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Scheme earlier than February 10, 2023, for e-KYC, linking checking account with Aadhaar and direct profit switch to a checking account for the subsequent instalment switch, Meghraj Singh Ratnu, the state nodal officer of the scheme stated.

He stated that directions have been given by the Government of India on this regard.

In an announcement, Ratnu stated that by January 2023, 67 per cent of e-KYC and 88 per cent of financial institution accounts have been linked to Aadhaar by the beneficiaries of this scheme within the state.

In the state, about 24.45 lakh beneficiaries are but to get e-KYC carried out and 1.94 akh beneficiaries are but to hyperlink their financial institution accounts with Aadhaar.

He stated that the beneficiaries who haven’t but obtained e-KYC carried out and haven’t linked their checking account with Aadhaar should get it carried out earlier than February 10.

India Post Payments Bank has been licensed for the aim.
