Punjab and Haryana HC junks plea for second post-mortem on slain gangster Jaipal Bhullar

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday dismissed a plea by Bhupinder Singh, the daddy of slain gangster Jaipal Bhullar, looking for a second autopsy of his son’s physique.
The courtroom, whereas dismissing the plea, stated, “It is beyond the jurisdiction of this court to issue any directions”. Bhullar’s household stated that they are going to file an attraction towards the order on the Supreme Court.
On Thursday, the High Court bench of Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, stated, “The petitioner has failed to satisfy this court as to how the plea is maintainable.”
The petitioner, Bhupinder Singh, by means of his counsel, Advocate Simranjit Singh, contended that his son was killed in a faux police encounter on June 9, close to Kolkata (West Bengal), which have been confirmed by the accidents on the useless physique of his son that was introduced from Kolkata to Ferozepur.

Advocate Simranjit additional argued that the autopsy performed at Kolkata was manipulated and a sham autopsy report ready on the behest of sure folks, thus, necessitating a second autopsy to show torture.
Justice Kaul, after listening to the matter, stated, “Admittedly, the death in question took place in Kolkata (West Bengal) and the post-mortem was conducted by the doctors there. Hence, it would be beyond the jurisdiction of this court to issue any directions as sought for.”
