PM Modi urges people to exercise caution while voting in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged voters in Bihar to exercise caution. The first phase of polling for the assembly elections started in the day. This is the first election to be held in the country amid the Coronavirus crisis.

India’s coronavirus tally rose to 79,90,322 on Wednesday as it recorded 43,893 new cases in the last 24 hours. The country’s toll increased from 508 to 1,20,010. India’s active cases were 6,10,803, while the number of recoveries reached 72,59,509.
Delhi on Tuesday recorded 9,53 new coronovirus cases – its biggest single-day jump – for the city at 3,7,371. The toll increased to 6,356 with 44 more deaths.
According to Johns Hopes University, globally, coronaviruses have infected more than 4.39 million people and killed 11,66,127 people. Worldwide recovery across 2.97 crores.
