PM Modi to go to Kedarnath on November 5, to unveil Adi Shankara statue and different initiatives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to unveil the 12 ft statue of Adi Shankaracharya at Kedarnath, Uttarakhand on November 5. The Chardham Devasthanam Board is gearing up its preparations forward of the Prime Minister’s go to.
After providing prayers on the Kedarnath Temple, PM Modi is scheduled to put the inspiration stone of a number of key infrastructure initiatives.
As per an official press launch, he can even be inaugurating Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi which had been reconstructed after its destruction within the 2013 Uttarakhand floods.
Other infrastructure initiatives to be inaugurated
PM Modi’s itinerary consists of addressing a public rally and reviewing the executed and ongoing works alongside the Saraswati Aasthapath.

The Prime Minister will moreover be inaugurating key infrastructure initiatives which have been accomplished at a value of over Rs. 130 crore together with Saraswati Retaining Wall Aasthapath and Ghats, Mandakini Retaining Wall Aasthapath, Tirth Purohit Houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini.
He can even be laying the inspiration stone for a number of initiatives together with the Redevelopment of Sangam Ghat, First Aid and Tourist Facilitation Centre, Admin Office, hospital, visitor homes, police station, Command & Control Centre, Mandakini Aasthapath Queue Management and Rainshelter and Saraswati Civic Amenity Building. The estimated value of those initiatives is claimed to be over Rs 180 crore. 
Over 30 lakh devotees go to the Chardham which incorporates Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath yearly. Reportedly, 2019 witnessed a rise of twenty-two.6 per cent of tourists resulting from improved amenities on the holy Hindu pilgrimage.
