PM Modi to put basis stone of AIIMS at Rajkot

Narendra Modi will on Thursday lay the muse stone of a brand new All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Gujarat’s Rajkot at 11 am by way of video conferencing.  

Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan and Union MoS for Health Ashwini Kumar Choubey will even be current on the event. 

A complete space of 201 acres of land has been allotted for the venture and will probably be constructed at an estimated value Rs 1,195 crores. The venture is predicted to be accomplished by the mid of 2022.  

The state-of-the-art 750-bed hospital will even have a 30-bed AAYUSH block. It may have 125 MBBS seats and 60 nursing seats, the Prime Minister’s Office stated in a press release.

But, we need to be extra careful and make sure that we don’t let it come in India in a big way,” he added.
