PM Modi to inaugurate India’s largest drone competition

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s largest drone competition right here on Friday and work together with kisan drone pilots in addition to witness open-air drone demonstrations.

‘Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022’ is a two-day occasion and being held on May 27 and 28. Modi will inaugurate India’s largest Drone Festival, ‘Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022,’ on May 27 at 10 am at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) mentioned in an announcement.

The prime minister will work together with kisan drone pilots, witness open-air drone demonstrations and work together with startups within the drone exhibition centre, the assertion mentioned.

Over 1,600 delegates comprising authorities officers, overseas diplomats, armed forces, central armed police forces, public sector undertakings, personal corporations and drone startups will take part within the competition.

More than 70 exhibitors will show varied use circumstances of drones on the exhibition, it mentioned. The mahotsav may even witness a digital award of drone pilot certificates, product launches, panel discussions, flying demonstrations, show of a Made in India drone taxi prototype, amongst others, it mentioned.
