PM Modi dials Himanta to take inventory of Assam flood scenario

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday referred to as up Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to investigate in regards to the present flood scenario within the state and warranted all potential assist from the Centre.

Modi expressed concern over the hardships confronted by the folks affected by the deluge. “At 6 am today, Hon PM Shri @narendramodi ji called me to enquire about #flood situation in #Assam.
