Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get vaccinated for Covid-19 within the second part of the inoculation drive launched final week, News 18 reported as we speak. According to the report, All Chief Ministers can even be vaccinated for coronavirus within the second part of the vaccination drive.

In the second part, these above 50 years of age and folks with comorbidities shall be vaccinated. All MPs and MLAs who’re above 50 can even be vaccinated.

The vaccine drive was launched on January 16 with well being staff receiving jabs of two vaccines –  Covishield and Covaxin.

India has rolled out a large coronavirus vaccination drive beneath which two vaccines, Covishield and Covaxin, are being administered to frontline well being staff throughout the nation. While Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield is being manufactured by the Serum Institute, and the Covaxin is being produced by Bharat Biotech.
