Pfizer’s Corona vaccine received permission to use emergency in US

After Britain, the US has also been allowed to use the Corona vaccine developed by American company Pfizer and German pharma company Bioentech. Corona’s havoc in America has been seen most worldwide. According to John Hapkins University statistics, 15.5 million people have been affected by Corona and about 2 lakh 92 thousand people have lost their lives here due to this disease. 

Along with this, the US government has decided to buy 100 million Corona vaccines from Corona from another vaccine maker Mordana. On Friday, an advisory committee of the US government allowed the emergency use of Pfizer’s vaccine.  

There was an eight-hour long debate on this issue in America. During this time, members of FDA’s advisory committee allowed emergency use of the vaccine by 17 votes against 4. One member did not participate in the voting process. 

However, Pfizer’s vaccine approval is interim. The company will have to apply one more time to sell the vaccine regularly in the US. One expert said that the benefits of this vaccine are more than the potential risks of this vaccine, so the vaccine has been allowed to be used. 

Significantly, this Pfizer vaccine has already been approved in the UK, Canada, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia for emergency use. In India too, permission has been sought for emergency use of the vaccine. At the same time, permission to use emergency of Pfizer vaccine has been obtained when 3000 people have died from corona in last 24 hours. This figure is the highest worldwide.
