Panchkula: Second dry run held at six centres

THE SECOND dry run for Covid-19 vaccination was held throughout Panchkula district at six centres – three every in city and rural areas — on Thursday in preparation for the vaccine rollout.
The six areas included neighborhood centres in sectors 16, 21, 26, Kalka, Pinjore and Barwala. At least 25 beneficiaries, well being employees, participated within the drive at every centre.
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, Civil Surgeon Dr Jasjeet Kaur attended the dry run.
A five-member staff of a vaccinator officer and 4 vaccination officers have been deployed at every centre through the means of dry run.
The second dry run has been carried out to make sure easy implementation of Covid-19 vaccine rollout within the state. The main purpose to conduct the dry run was to train end-to-end testing of Covid vaccination rollout in order to determine the challenges which is able to additional assist in formulating detailed plans for precise implementation of the vaccine rollout and supply confidence to programme managers at varied ranges.
