Opposition members stroll out of Lok Sabha protesting gas worth hike

NEW DELHI: Opposition members, together with these from the Congress, TMC and Shiv Sena, on Monday walked out of the Lok Sabha protesting towards gas worth hike.

As quickly because the Zero Hour started, DMK members trooped into the Well shouting slogans. Later, members from different opposition events too stormed the Well elevating the problem of gas worth rise.

As Rajendra Agrawal, who was chairing the House proceedings continued to run the Zero Hour, Congress, DMK, TMC, Left events, Shiv Sena and NCP staged a stroll out. Petrol costs had been hiked for the twelfth time within the final 14 days as world crude oil costs rose. In all, petrol costs have gone up by Rs 8.40 per litre previously two weeks. The worth of petrol is above Rs 100 a litre mark in all main cities from Srinagar to Kochi.
