Opposition didn’t even let ex-PM Deve Gowda converse in Rajya Sabha, reveals its insensitivity: Bhupender Yadav

NEW DELHI: Opposition members creating ruckus in Rajya Sabha mirrored their insensitivity to problems with labourers and even in direction of senior leaders of their ranks as they didn’t let former prime minister HD Deve Gowda converse within the House, BJP chief and Union minister Bhupender Yadav mentioned on Monday.

Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned for the day amid protests by Opposition events searching for a dialogue on points associated to gas worth hike.

Addressing the press outdoors Parliament, Yadav mentioned Opposition members disrupted and created ruckus as Deve Gowda tried to talk on a problem associated to labourers.

“When members from the Opposition, including TMC and DMK, raised their points everyone listened to them patiently but when former prime minister Deve Gowda got up from his seat and tried to speak, the Opposition members disrupted the proceedings of the House and did not let him speak,” he mentioned.

Yadav, the Labour Minister, mentioned disrupting the House throughout a dialogue on the problems associated to the Labour Ministry confirmed insensitivity of the Opposition, together with Left events, to issues regarding labourers.

As quickly because the House reassembled at 2 PM after two adjournments, Opposition members began protesting demanding dialogue on the difficulty of worth rise of petrol, diesel and LPG.
