Off-duty TTE arrested for urinating on lady passenger on Kolkata-Amritsar practice

LUCKNOW: After instances of drunk flyers urinating on co-passengers, an off-duty practice ticket examiner has been accused of relieving himself on a girl on the Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takht Express.

The alleged incident occurred on the evening of March 13.

Munna Kumar, the accused practice ticket examiner (TTE), has been arrested, a Government Railway Police (GRP) official stated on Tuesday. He was stated to be drunk.

A resident of Begusarai in Bihar, the accused was posted as a TTE in Saharanpur, the offcial stated.

Kumar was not on responsibility on the time of the alleged incident.

Navratna Gautam, the GRP inspector in Lucknow, informed PTI that in accordance with the grievance lodged by the passenger, he and his spouse have been travelling from Kiul in Bihar to Amritsar.

On the evening of March 13, Kumar allegedly urinated on his spouse’s head, he stated.

Kumar was arrested from Charbagh station after a grievance was lodged with the GRP (Charbagh Lucknow), Gautam stated.

He added {that a} probe will likely be carried out to establish if the accused was drunk on the time of the alleged incident.

Last week, an inebriated scholar allegedly urinated whereas asleep in his seat on an American Airlines flight.

It someway leaked and fell on a fellow passenger, who complained to the flight crew.

On November 26, a person recognized as Shankar Mishra allegedly urinated in a drunken state on an aged lady on a New York-Delhi Air India flight.

In one other case, a person allegedly urinated on the blanket of a feminine co-passenger on a Paris-Delhi flight on December 6.
