New schooling coverage will make college students self-reliant, says Union minister

WARDHA: Union Minister Subhas Sarkar on Saturday mentioned the brand new National Education Policy will make college students self-reliant and assist in constructing a affluent India.

He was talking as chief visitor at a seminar on ‘National Education Policy, Innovation and Research’ organised by the Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University (MGIHU) right here.

“We are also working on translating the syllabus as part of this educational policy. We are trying to make education available in local and Indian or bilingual languages,” the minister of state for schooling mentioned.

Praising the traditional methodology of educating within the nation which grew over a number of thousand years, he mentioned ideas and works of students like Charak, Sushruta, Aryabhatta, Varahmihira, Maitreyi, Gargi and many others should be included within the current curriculum.
