MP: Man beheads uncle over black magic suspicion, walks on avenue with severed head in hand

SIDHI: A person allegedly beheaded his 60-year-old maternal uncle over black magic suspicion and walked round two kilometers along with his severed head and axe in palms in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh earlier than being nabbed by the police, an official mentioned on Saturday.

The incident occurred on Friday in Karimati village situated within the jurisdiction of Jamodi police station, round 10 kms from the district headquarters, he mentioned, including that the 26-year-old accused suspected his uncle to be creating issues for him by performing black magic on him.

Jamodi police station in-charge Sheshmani Mishra mentioned that the accused, Lalbahadur Gaud, went to his maternal uncle Maksudan Singh Gaud’s home on Friday and hit him on the neck with an axe following an argument.

“The attack was so intense that his uncle’s head got severed from the body,” he mentioned.

Mishra mentioned that after the killing, the accused began strolling in the direction of to the police station by holding the severed head and the axe in his palms, however the cops arrested him halfway after being alerted.

The accused mentioned his uncle was creating issues for him via black magic and that he had requested him many instances not to take action.

However, his uncle was not able to relent, the official mentioned quoting the accused.

After he reached his uncle’s home on Friday, each of them entered into an argument, following which the accused attacked him in a match of rage, he mentioned.

Mishra mentioned the accused was arrested for homicide and investigation into the case is on.
