INDORE: Irate kin of a 16-year-old boy tried to arrange his funeral pyre in a authorities hospital in Indore in Madhya Pradesh after alleging that he died attributable to a unsuitable injection.

Piyush Kashyap alias Prem died on Thursday after he was operated on the ear on the government-run Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital (MYH), Sanyogitaganj police station in-charge Vijay Tiwari informed PTI.

“His family members alleged the Class 11 standard student died after a wrong injection was administered to him. The cause of death is not clear and the deceased’s kin have not given us his medical papers,” he mentioned.

Eyewitnesses mentioned Kashyap’s kin tried to arrange a pyre with wooden and cow dung muffins on the MYH premises, however the police managed to pacify them.

His final rites had been later held within the crematorium right here, they mentioned.

Meanwhile, the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) division of MYH issued a press assertion saying Kashyap’s ear surgical procedure was profitable and that there was no negligence in his therapy.

Tiwari mentioned a probe is underway into Kashyap’s dying.
