Modi government’s gift, Air India flight will get half-ticket, know who will get benefit

 A good news is coming for elderly passengers traveling by air. Yes… the Modi government at the Center has done a big gift to the elderly passengers who travel by air. In the country, anyone above 60 years will now get Air India tickets for half the price. This has been said by the Ministry of Aviation. This information is also available on Air India website.

According to this new scheme, passengers above 60 years will now be able to enjoy the journey from Air India for very low fares. Senior citizens must carry an identity card indicating their age while taking the boarding pass. They can travel by paying 50 percent less price.

1. Indian citizenship, senior living permanently in India, citizens who have completed 60 years on the date of travel.

2. Half of the basic fare of the booking class selected in the economy cabin

3. This rule applies for travel to any sector in India

4. Will be applicable for one year from the date of issue of tickets.

5. This rule will be valid on booking the tickets seven days in advance.

Such a scheme was also being run by Air India earlier, although now it has got recognition from the Ministry. The government is trying to give Air India in private hands. Recently, there was such information that the Tata group can once again be seen operating Air India. Tata group has filed this EOI through Air Asia India. It is noteworthy that the Tata group has a majority stake in Air Asia.
