Meghalaya Governor backs protesting farmers, urges Centre to not offend them

Siding with farmers protesting the Centre’s new agriculture legal guidelines, Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik right here on Sunday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to not offend them.

“I belong to a farmer’s family. Hence, I can understand their problems. I will go to any extent to solve the problems of farmers,” he mentioned.
