Mathura: Men barge into mosque, take away wires of loudspeaker

A gaggle of males barged right into a mosque in Govardhan city in Mathura, scuffled with its Imam and took away wires of the loudspeaker put in there, police stated.
According to SSP Gaurav Grover, the incident passed off on Monday as eight to 9 individuals entered the mosque situated within the Bada Bazar space of the city.
People within the space protested towards the incident. SP (Rural) Shrish Chandra stated they have been assured of stern motion towards the accused.

According to police, the accused climbed straight to the roof of the mosque and took away wires of the loudspeaker. They had a scuffle with the Imam when he opposed their act.
On the criticism of Imam Mohammad Iliyas, police have lodged a case underneath Section 295 (A) of the IPC.

The accused have been recognized as Saurabh Numberdar, a resident Kandere Colony; Pawan Sharma; Dheeraj Kaushik; Kanha Thakur; Deepak Sharma; Rocky; Dori and Jai Thakur.
Attempts are on to arrest them, police stated.
