Man arrested in Shamli in UPTET 2021 paper leak case

LUCKNOW: The Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh has arrested an individual from Shamli district in reference to the query paper leak case of the state’s instructor eligibility check (TET) 2021.

In a press release issued right here on Sunday, the STF stated Ajay, alias Bablu, was arrested in Shamli on Saturday evening.

During an interrogation, Ajay stated his confederate Monu had informed him to leak the query paper (first shift) for Rs 50,000 per candidate, and he had despatched round 14-15 candidates to Monu for a similar, based on the assertion.

On November 28, 2021, the UPTET was cancelled after a query paper was leaked shortly earlier than the examination was to start.

So far, over 27 folks have been arrested on this connection.
