Maha: Five killed as dashing truck collides with automotive in Sangli

SANGLI: Four members of a family and a driver have been killed when a dashing truck collided with their automotive in Maharashtra’s Sangli district, police talked about on Saturday.

The accident handed off near Jath metropolis on Vijapur-Guhagar avenue spherical 11 pm on Friday, an official talked about.

“The family was traveling from Vijapur to Jath. When the car reached Amrutwadi Phata, a speeding truck laden with soil, collided with their vehicle,” the official talked about.

The victims, who’ve been from Jath metropolis, have been on a pilgrimage, he talked about.

Mayuri Sawant (38), her eight-year-old son Shlok, father Namdev (65) and mother Padmini (60) and the driving force, Datta Chavan (40) have been killed on the spot, the official talked about.

The truck driver fled the scene following the incident, he talked about, together with that further probe is underway.
