Lockdown to be imposed in Bihar until May 15, tweets CM Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday introduced lockdown within the state until May 15.

“After discussion with the associate ministers and officials yesterday, it was decided to implement the lockdown in Bihar by May 15, 2021. In relation to its detailed guidelines and other activities, today the Crisis management group has been instructed to take action,” tweeted Bihar CM.

The resolution of the Chief Minister got here after Patna High Court on Monday requested the state authorities to regulate the COVID-19 state of affairs and declare a lockdown or it should move an applicable order.

Earlier, the Bihar authorities has imposed an evening curfew within the state until March 15.
