The Awantipora police on Sunday busted a hideout of proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba, the Jammu and Kashmir police mentioned. One terrorist affiliate was additionally arrested in the course of the operation.
The police obtained data concerning presence of Lashkar terrorists within the hideout at a home in Chandhara Pampore village. Acting upon the data, police together with 50 RR and 110 Bn CRPF carried out a search operation of the mentioned home and located a big hideout within the cow shed.
They recovered incriminating materials of the fear outfit and 26 rounds of AK-47.
Meanwhile, police registered a case at Pampore police station beneath related sections of Unlawful Activity Act.
