Large variety of Indian college students flip up exterior embassy in Kyiv

NEW DELHI: A lot of Indian college students in Ukraine on Thursday turned up exterior the Indian embassy in Kyiv in search of help after Russia launched a army operation concentrating on a number of Ukrainian cities.

Government sources mentioned the embassy organised “safe premises for the students nearby and the students were moved in there”.

“It has been a very anxious day for you all. We heard that your flight is cancelled and realised that all of you are here. And as you know martial law has been imposed and too many people cannot be together,” he mentioned.

“So we took a conscious decision to keep you outside for authorities to see the numbers,” he mentioned including that led to the negotiations and finally the place for his or her lodging.

The sources mentioned the Indian embassy is continuous to help Indian nationals, together with college students, in Ukraine.

Currently, 20,000 Indians, largely college students, are stranded in Ukraine.
