J&Okay cop shoots useless colleague in Udhampur district
1 min read A Jammu-Kashmir Police constable was allegedly shot useless by a colleague in Udhampur district of the Union Territory on Saturday night time.
Sources mentioned that Special Police Officer (SPO) Manohar Lal fired from his AK-47 at Senior Grade Constable Kaka Ram in Udhampur market close to Jakheni Chowk at round 10.50 pm. Ram succumbed to his accidents after being shifted to the Army Hopital.
The reason for provocation is being ascertained, sources mentioned. However, a police officer mentioned that there had been some altercation which led to the firing.
The police have registered a case within the matter.
