NEW DELHI: A scholar of Jamia Millia Islamia University was injured after he was allegedly shot at by one other scholar contained in the Holy Family Hospital premises on Thursday.
According to Delhi Police, a PCR name was acquired round 9 pm on Thursday at Jamia Nagar police station relating to a brawl on the library inside Jamia Millia Islamia college.
On inquiry, police discovered that the struggle had ensued between two teams of scholars. In the incident, a regulation scholar Noman Chaudhary (26), a resident of Sardahan village, Meerut, sustained blunt damage on the pinnacle. He was shifted to Holy Family Hospital for therapy.
Police mentioned one other scholar Nauman Ali, an affiliate of Nauman Chaudhary, additionally visited the hospital to see his good friend. In the meantime, one scholar of the second group particularly Zalal, a resident of Mewat, Haryana accompanied by his buddies got here to the hospital and fired at Nauman Ali exterior the Emergency ward within the hospital premises.
According to police, Nauman Ali had a superficial damage on the scalp. He has been shifted to AIIMS Trauma Center.
