NEW DELHI: Indian nationals will not be required to submit a police clearance certificates for acquiring a visa for travelling to Saudi Arabia, the embassy of that nation introduced on Thursday.

According to an announcement issued by the Saudi Embassy, the choice has been taken as a part of efforts of the 2 international locations to additional strengthen relations.

“In view of the strong relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India, the Kingdom has decided to exempt the Indian nationals from submitting a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC),” the assertion stated.

The PCC will not be a requirement for Indian residents to acquire a visa for travelling to Saudi Arabia, it stated.

The Saudi Embassy stated it appreciates the contribution of over two million Indian residents dwelling peacefully within the Kingdom.
