IMA to launch nationwide relay starvation strike towards ‘mixopathy’

THE Indian Medical Association is ready to accentuate its agitation towards ‘mixopathy’ “to restore the purity of the modern medical profession” and has requested all IMA members and trendy drugs medical doctors throughout the nation to start a relay starvation strike from February 1 until February 14.

“IMA is constrained today to intensify the agitation as the steps towards implementing ‘mixopathy’ are not being taken back,” stated Dr Jayesh Lele, IMA’s honorary secretary basic.
“IMA acknowledges that the Indian population needs different systems of medicine for different conditions of diseases and for promoting wellness. However, we strongly oppose the proposal to make a single doctor practicing all systems together as it will hamper quality and safety as he will lack in-depth knowledge on the particular system of medicine. IMA supports polypathy but not ‘mixopathy’ and kitchadification of healthcare systems,” Dr Lele stated.
IMA members can be on relay starvation strike at greater than 50 locations throughout the nation. All specialty associations throughout the nation will be a part of the strike by means of the Federation of Medical Associations underneath the aegis of IMA.
