JAMMU:  Indian Air Force personnel rescued two individuals trapped in flash-floods in river Ujh in Kathua district on Monday night, officers stated.

After getting info that two individuals together with dozen of animals have been trapped within the river, the military and district administration launched a rescue operation, they stated.

The administration referred to as for IAF choppers, who speedily launched a rescue operation, they stated.

However, the animals have been washed away within the flash-floods, they stated.
