Himachal Pradesh: Ten individuals, together with 5 forest dept staff, trapped in Mandi dam

SHIMLA: Ten individuals, together with 5 staff of the forest division, have been trapped on the Kol Dam Hydel Project in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district on Sunday, officers mentioned.

“The situation is not life-threatening and the trapped people would be rescued soon,” Mandi Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary mentioned.

“The rescue operation has been started by the NDRF in coordination with the local administration and residents,” Chaudhary advised PTI on Sunday evening.
