The authorities on Wednesday prolonged the suspension on scheduled industrial worldwide flights until January 31, 2021. The restrictions won’t apply to worldwide all-cargo operations and flights particularly authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). 

However, worldwide scheduled flights could also be allowed on chosen routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case foundation, the ministry stated in a press release. 

Scheduled worldwide passenger companies have been suspended within the nation since March 23 because of the coronavirus pandemic. But particular worldwide flights have been working beneath the Vande Bharat Mission since May and beneath bilateral “air bubble” preparations with chosen nations since July. 

India has fashioned air bubble pacts with 24 nations together with the UK, the UK, the UAE, Kenya, Bhutan, and France. Under an air bubble pact between two nations, particular worldwide flights could be operated by their airways between their territories.
