The Goa Tourism division will now impose a high quality of Rs 10,000 for consuming on seashores after a number of areas had been discovered suffering from bottles publish new 12 months celebrations, an official stated on Friday. State Tourism Director Menino D’Souza instructed PTI that boards cautioning folks in opposition to consuming on seashores have been put in.
The state authorities, in January 2019, amended the Tourist Trade Act imposing high quality of Rs 2,000 for people and Rs 10,000 for teams consuming on seashores, he stated.
“The tourism department will enforce the amended Act through police. Once we have our Tourist Police Force, we will be able to do it on our own,” he added.
