Ghaziabad girl seeks Rs 1 crore compensation for getting non-veg pizza

A lady from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad has sought compensation of Rs 1 crore from an American restaurant for delivering a non-vegetarian pizza. In her petition, Deepali Tyagi stated that she is a pure vegetarian due to her “religious beliefs, teachings, family traditions, own conscience, and her best choice.”

Back in March, 2019, the girl had positioned an order for a vegetarian pizza from the outlet. She stated that the pizza was delivered late, nevertheless, she ignored it and started consuming the pizza.

The girl stated she must undergo “several long and expensive rituals” which can price her lakhs of rupees throughout her complete life. 

To this, the district supervisor of the pizza outlet replied that since he isn’t authorised to barter by way of cash, he would hand over the matter to their very own authorized staff. 

 According to the grievance copy, the girl then stated that the character of the response from the other get together was “very casual”, a suggestion of serving pizza freed from price was nothing however a “mockery an insult to the social and financial status” of the complainant.

“That the opposite party’s negligent manner of performance has contaminated complainant body with food mixed with animal meat that was acquired by killing and cutting short the life given by God to any animal. Deepali Tyagi has now urged the buyer courtroom to direct the other get together to supply the declare of Rs 1 crore to her and in addition direct the pizza outlet to pay the complainant compensation for harassment and monetary hardship brought on by the other get together. Meanwhile, a district shopper disputes redressal fee has requested the pizza outlet to file a reply within the matter.
