Four members of household killed as automobile falls off bridge in Maharashtra’s Latur

LATUR: Four members of a household, together with three youngsters, have been killed and three others injured on Monday when their automobile fell off a bridge in Latur district of Maharashtra, police stated.

The household was returning to Nilanga city in Latur district from Pune after attending a marriage when the accident occurred on the Latur-Gulbarga nationwide freeway at round 7 AM, a police official stated.

The deceased included a 27-year-old man and three children- two of them aged 10 whereas one other was 15 years outdated.

“Prima facie, the driver lost his control of the wheel following which the car overturned and fell off a bridge,” assistant police inspector Nana Linge instructed PTI.

The injured individuals, together with a 10-year-old woman and a 40-year-old girl, have been admitted to a non-public hospital in Latur metropolis.

The deceased and injured are residents of Nilanga and adjoining villages.
