Former Rajasthan CM Jagannath Pahadia dies of Covid-19

Veteran Congress chief and former Rajasthan chief minister Jagannath Pahadia died as a result of Covid-19 on the age of 89.
The chief minister of Rajasthan in 1980-81 and in addition a former governor of Haryana and Bihar, Pahadia died on Wednesday.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stated he was very shocked by the demise.

“Pahadia left us because of Covid-19. I am very shocked by his demise. He had a lot of affection for me right from the beginning,” Gehlot tweeted.
He stated Pahadia’s dying is a private loss for him. The state authorities has introduced a one-day mourning on Thursday throughout which authorities workplaces will probably be closed and the nationwide flag will fly at half-mast.

A cabinet assembly may even be held at 12 midday on Thursday to pay condolences to Pahadia, whose funeral will probably be held with state honour the identical day.
