Former Karnataka minister C M Udasi passes away at 85 attributable to age-related sickness

Former Karnataka minister and six-time BJP legislator C M Udasi handed away on Tuesday at a personal hospital in Bengaluru attributable to age-related sickness. He was 85.
Udasi was the minister for public works within the B S Yediyurappa cabinet in 2008 and had represented the Hangal Assembly constituency in Haveri district for six occasions.

Yediyurappa, numerous ministers, former PM HD Deve Gowda, Karnataka Congress President D Ok Shivakumar and different leaders condoled his loss of life. “Udasi was a gentleman and dynamic politician committed to solving people’s problems. His work as a PWD minister was noteworthy. He also worked earnestly for the development of the Hangal constituency.” Yediyurappa stated.
HD Deve Gowda in a tweet stated he was pained on listening to about Udasi’s loss of life.

DK Shivakumar stated, “Deeply saddened by the passing away of senior BJP Karnataka leader and MLA Shri. CM Udasi. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and supporters.”

The authorities has issued an order stating that Udasi’s final rites will likely be carried out with full state honours whereas following Covid-19 tips. Social distancing norms will likely be maintained and the minimal variety of police personnel will likely be deployed, the order added.
