Former Himachal Pradesh CM Virbhadra Singh passes away

Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister and senior Congress chief Virbhadra Singh died in Shimla within the early hours of Thursday after a protracted sickness. He was 87.

Singh additionally served as Himachal Pradesh Congress president in 1977, 1979, 1980 and from twenty sixth August, 2012 to December 2012.
Singh, who belonged to the royal household of Bushahr in Shimla district, is survived by spouse Pratibha Singh, son Vikramaditya Singh and 4 daughters.
