A serious hearth broke out on the Eco Retreat facility at Satkosia Wildlife Sanctuary in Odisha”s Angul district on Sunday, official sources stated. There was no harm or lack of life within the hearth incident, the tourism division stated in its Twitter put up, including that security of vacationers was paramount and steps might be taken to make sure that no recurrence of such an incident occurs in future.

Three tents have been burnt to ashes within the hearth. Though the rationale behind the outbreak of fireside was but to be ascertained, it’s suspected that {an electrical} brief circuit might need led to the mishap. By the time, hearth providers personnel reached the spot, the blaze had already engulfed the tents, an official stated.

The Tourism Department stated a probe into the matter is being carried out. Steps might be taken to make sure that no recurrence of such an incident occurs in future, it stated.

Odisha Transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda and his spouse Santosh Bala, Special Secretary of Home Department, who have been staying in one of many cottages on the Eco Retreat camps had a slender escape early this morning.

“By the grace of God, me and Santosh escaped without any injury as fire broke out in our tent at Satkosia Eco Retreat at about 5 am,” Panda wrote in a social media put up.

In a video clip posted by Panda in Twitter, his spouse Santosh was heard saying: “It was so inflammable that we thought we will douse it, Sanjeeb and me rushed out of the tent. By the time we went inside, it (fire) was at high intensity. We could not bring anything out. I would have got burnt had I been on the upper side of the tent.”
