Fire at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi

A minor hearth broke out within the nursing room of Safdarjung Hospital on Thursday afternoon on account of a short-circuit. Fire engines have been rushed to the hospital to battle the blaze. No one was injured within the incident, the official mentioned.

According to the fireplace division, they acquired a name concerning the incident round 1.24 pm. The hearth broke out in a room utilized by the nursing workers within the OPD block located on the fourth flooring of the hospital.

Seven hearth tenders have been rushed to the spot and the fireplace was introduced beneath management by 1.40 pm, mentioned Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Service.

The trigger of fireside is being ascertained. Officials suspect short-circuit could have led to the incident.
