Eight individuals useless, 5 hospitalised after consuming spurious liquor in Aligarh

Eight individuals died on Friday and 5 extra are hospitalised after allegedly consuming spurious liquor provided by a contracted vendor, police stated in Aligarh.
The Lodha police station was knowledgeable within the morning concerning the dying of two individuals after consumption of country-made liquor purchased from a vendor in Karsia, DIG Dipak Kumar advised information individuals.
The victims have been truck drivers, he stated.
However, when police and senior district officers arrived on the spot, they have been knowledgeable that six extra had died in Karsia and adjoining villages, the DIG stated.
Deputy Commissioner, Excise, D Sharma advised PTI that 5 extra individuals have been rushed to the district hospital after which shifted to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital AMU as their situation deteriorated.
