Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama says Gujarat authorities goes to recruit 10,000 lecturers

To enhance high quality of training for the scholars, the state authorities goes to recruit round 10,000 lecturers within the coming days, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama stated on the ground of the Gujarat Assembly whereas collaborating within the dialogue on the budgetary calls for of the division.
The state authorities, the training minister stated, will recruit 1,300 major lecturers for sophistication 1 to five, and 385 lecturers for colleges apart from Gujarati medium. Similarly, 2,000 lecturers will likely be recruited for sophistication 6 to eight, and 215 lecturers for colleges apart from Gujarati medium. In all, 3,900 lecturers will likely be recruited in major colleges, Chudasama stated.The training minister stated that 7,010 lecturers will likely be recruited in grant-in-aid colleges that can embody 1,200 principals and 5,710 shikshak sahayaks. Similarly, 927 adhyapak sahayaks will likely be recruited in schools for increased training, he added.

Congress MLAs Premsinh Vasava, Gulabsinh Rajput, and Bhaga Barad opposed the training division’s resolution to merge colleges having fewer variety of college students in several elements of the state. Vasava stated when a college will get merged with one other within the distance of 5-6 kilometres, college students don’t get transport facility like bus. “In such a situation, children will stop going to schools… It will be good if the schools are not merged and the decision is either cancelled or postponed,” Vasava stated.
Defending the choice to merge colleges, Chudasama stated the choice was part of future planning to make sure that no trainer has to deal with two lessons.
‘Students in primary schools going down’Senior Congress MLA from Bhiloda Anil Joshiyara stated the variety of college students in major colleges was taking place daily. In 2015-16, he stated, the quantity was over round 90 lakhs, which has come all the way down to 86.14 lakhs now. The variety of woman college students in major colleges was 42.07 lakhs in 2015-16, which has come all the way down to 40.48 lakhs, he stated. “This means that children are avoiding going to school. It could be for any reason. We worry for the (school) dropout rate. We become happy that dropout rate has gone down to 3.39%. But that is not the case. Children are not coming to study in the schools. And the government should worry about that too,” Joshiyara stated.
